Part of Supercell ID team, working on highly scalable, reliable, distributed services. To be extended.
Software Engineer Intern - Picnic, Amsterdam (06/2022 - 08/2022)
using React Native, TypeScript, Redux, GraphQL, Spring, PostgreSQL, Docker
Picnic is the #1 startup in the Netherlands and it builds an online supermarket with its own supply chain. Aside from extending microservices in a large back-end, I mostly enhanced a mobile application with a scanning functionality, which eventually replaced a different internal mobile application.
Slush 2021, 2022 Volunteer - Factory Team (12/2021, 11/2022)
Slush is the world's leading tech startup event with more than 1500 investors and 2000 startups. Some famous speakers include the CEO of Tinder and the COO of DeepMind. My team was responsible for the practical arrangements of the Factory, a place for some of our partner events, guiding people to different places, and giving information to the guests.
Education Committee (General Member) at Inter-Actief (3/2021-2/2022)
Bridging the communication between students and staff, aiming to impmrove the quality of the education of the Computer Science and Business & IT majors. Organised a hand-full of activities, including guest lectures with external software professionals and other study-related activities.
Co-Founder & Secretary of Ultimate Frisbee Association (9/2020-8/2021)
Co-Founded an Ultimate Frisbee Association to allow students to play Ultimate Frisbee at the University of Twente. In my board year, I have been responsible for managing mails, creating the minutes for all meetings and planning out the future of the association.
